At the heart of all BÄRO UV-C disinfection systems are compact UV-C low-pressure emitters which emit UV-C light on a wavelength of 253.7 nm without producing ozone and ensure efficient and effective reduction of microorganisms by up to 99%, even in very confined spaces. A special interior coating of the quartz glass means that BÄRO UV-C emitters have an exceptionally long service life of approximately 9,000 hours – with minimal decline in radiative power.
For special requirements – for example in the food industry – UV-C emitters with the high protection rating IP 65 are also available. The high-quality ceramic holder is protected against splashes and jets of water. In addition, a patented Teflon sheath not only ensures additional thermal insulation of the lamp, it also guarantees protection against broken glass in the event of lamp breakage.

The UV-C-box and UV-C-chamber guarantee simple, fast and safe disinfection of equipment, instruments, protective masks and protective clothing.
The uniform radiation of the objects with the integrated UV-C high performance lamps achieves a 99.9% reduction of bacteria and viruses in just a few minutes.

From doctor's surgeries and old people's homes to administrative buildings and changing rooms – wherever lots of people congregate or there is high human traffic there can be a higher level of germs and bacteria that can cause ill health among humans.
AirCom reduces the risk of infection, especially in small rooms. AirCom consists of a disinfection chamber, a micro-filter for pre-filtering the contaminated air, radiation traps and a fan. If required, it can also be fitted with an activated carbon filter to reduce slight odours.
Thanks to the 230V/50HZ connection it can be fitted anywhere. Fitted on the wall or optionally as a mobile stand-alone unit with a roller base, the AirCom air disinfection unit unobtrusively ensures good air quality.

Human health is one of the most important success factors for many companies. One of the ways of protecting the employees and the product is to free the air from harmful germs and bacteria. But the preconditions for this are rarely identical. Offices, production and storage rooms have different dimensions and the ventilation systems, too, differ in terms of type and technology. The dimensions of the AirStream air disinfection module can be customised to all kinds of different initial situations.
The modules are made of galvanised sheet metal, aluminium or optionally, stainless steel and can be integrated in air conditioning systems or other ventilation systems, regardless of whether they are retrofitted in existing systems or new projects are planned.

AirStream C is the closed model in the AirStream product line. As an independent compact unit for the cost-effective disinfection of air volumes of up to 50,000 m³/h it can be integrated in rooms without a ventilation system or in systems with an insufficient volume flow where people are permanently present, for example administrative buildings, production facilities or storerooms.
The 230 V connection enables the system consisting of disinfection chamber, pre-filter (filter system), fan and UV-C technology incl. radiation traps to be fitted on walls, ceilings or in suspended ceilings. It enables UV-C emitters with a Teflon sheath to be used. A stainless steel version and volume flow control are available as options. The AirStream C system is dimensioned in accordance with the air flow rate needed.

The primary task of the AirStream V module is to protect employees and products in a production plant where the rooms are cooled with evaporators. This is because there is a risk of micro-organisms breeding on the surface of the evaporators and contaminating the air supplied as it flows through the room.
Individual adjustment to the specific conditions on site ensures that 99.9% of the required air flow is disinfected. AirStream V can be fitted in front of both suction and compression evaporators with power supply of 230 V (50-60 Hz). The function is checked via an inspection window while an inspection opening allows the quick and straightforward replacement of the UV-C emitters. In addition, a connector offers the additional option of feeding the disinfected air from the closed stainless steel housing 1.4301 into an air distribution system.
The AirTube air disinfection unit has been designed for use in areas with integrated evaporators. The open design is not suitable for rooms where people are permanently present.
Due to its size and performance and the simple connection (230 V/50 Hz, 140 W), it is ideal for use in cold rooms, storerooms and ripening rooms with normal room dimensions.
The positioning directly in front of the air outlet of the evaporator ensures effective disinfection of the partial air flow. As an option it is possible to fit UV-C emitters with a Teflon sheath in the 1.4301 stainless steel housing.

AirTube C is ideal for small ripening and storerooms where it is not possible to integrate large air disinfection systems. The closed construction enables the system to be used in rooms where people are permanently present.
The self-contained module with an emitter service life of 9,000 h and an air flow rate of up to 300 m³/h has been specially designed for this usage scenario and is simple to install on the ceiling or optionally to suspend from the ceiling.
UV-C emitters with a Teflon sheath can be used, as can pre-filters that free the contaminated air from large particles. The 1.4301 stainless steel housing contains the disinfection chamber, radiation traps and a fan.

AirTube S is the small module in the AirTube family. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the low power consumption of 90 W and the supply voltage of 120-277 V /50 Hz it is particularly suited to air disinfection in cold rooms, storerooms and ripening rooms with low ceilings.

SURFACE DISINFECTION
The UV-C compact luminaire with protection rating IP20 serves to reduce micro-organisms in the air and on surfaces (e.g. cooling lamella) and has been specially designed for use in situations where space is at a premium. Thanks to its compact design it is ideal for installation in HVAC systems or ventilation ducts.
The number of compact luminaires to be used depends on the site requirements. To start with, data including microbiological factors and the physical parameters are recorded to ensure appropriate dimensions for the systems.
The use of 2 UV-C compact emitters with power consumption of 95 watts provides for high irradiance coupled with very good energy efficiency and guarantees cost-effective operation of the system.

The UV-C damp room luminaire with protection rating IP 65 has been specially designed for air and surface disinfection in the food industry in wet areas or in dusty rooms e.g. for the disinfection of equipment such as conveyor and deboning belts, filling machines, dough rising surfaces, foil and plastic lids.
Furthermore, the luminaire can also be used for disinfection in laboratories.
Here, UV-C radiation disinfects the air and surfaces when people are not present, e.g. during the night-time.
The luminaire features an integrated conventional ballast. It is wired ready for connection and is supplied with the UV-C emitters. The connection housing is made of impact resistant plastic, the connecting tube is made of stainless steel. The emitter is optionally available with a Teflon sheath as splinter protection.

These have a Teflon sheath, which is in turn firmly sealed with the high-quality ceramic base. The housing is made of 1.4301 stainless steel, the lampholder housing and adapter housing are made of impact resistant plastic.
