50 years ago the BÄRO success story started with the idea of offering lighting for food products that makes their freshness and quality visible. Today, BÄRO is still an owner-managed medium-sized company run by husband-and-wife team Dr. Sandra von Möller and J. Manuel von Möller.
From its headquarters in Leichlingen BÄRO operates internationally. As a project partner and system supplier the Retail Lighting division offers innovative lighting solutions – for all formats in the multi-faceted world of retail: Fresh Light for Fresh Products.
Furthermore, in 1996 BÄRO launched its Clean Air Technologies division. With systems for UV-C disinfection and innovative KitTech and plasma technologies for the elimination of grease and odours, BÄRO develops integrated solutions for customers in industrial kitchens, the restaurant and foodservice industry and small-scale and industrial food production: New Solutions for People and Environment.
For BÄRO, environmental and social responsibility is at the heart of its business operations. This is reflected both in its social commitment as well as its role as a company that trains apprentices. As a signatory of the “Diversity Charter” it considers diversity to be an opportunity.
