At the ISH in Frankfurt, the leading trade fair for air conditioning and ventilation technology, BÄRO Clean Air Technologies is presenting pioneering solutions for the food processing industry and food trade. Systems with UV-C technology play a very important role in the production of foodstuffs. They create germ-free air and surfaces – for greater safety in the production and a longer shelf life. Light destroys germs: BÄRO UV-C technology

At the heart of the BÄRO UV-C disinfection systems are compact UV-C low-pressure emitters, which emit UV-C light on a wavelength of 253.7 nm without producing ozone.

PlasmaStream technology ensures that odours are efficiently reduced and grease is absorbed – without chemical additives because it is based on a purely chemical and physical principle with four functional stages. When a front cooking station is equipped with this technology dishes can be freshly prepared right in front of the customers virtually anywhere. The integrated PlasmaStream and the additional blue smoke filter act like an invisible wall between the cooking station and the dining area and protect it from steam and smells.
